Elmohamady backs himself before Liverpool clash
Egypt and Sunderland winger Ahmed Elmohamady is gearing to be ready before Sunderland's English Premier League opener against Liverpool

Elmohamady is currently participating in Sunderland pre-season friendlies as he played full 90 minutes in the last 1-0 defeat to Burnley and came with the team's supporters expectations.
"I am pleased with how things went for me overall although the result was not what we wanted” Egypt winger was quoted as saying on the club official site.
The 23-year-old star Elmohamady has had no problems in the preseason friendlies and now he aims to do his best before the season starts at Liverpool on 13 August.
"I feel fitter now and will carry on working hard with the game against Liverpool just two weeks away,” he added.
"Getting myself in the best condition possible is my priority.”
"I am looking forward to the remaining two games we have now and hopefully we can get some good results before the season starts."
The former ENPPI player signed a three-year contract with Sunderland last month. The Cairo club's general manager, Alaa Abdel Sadeq, told Ahram Online that the transfer fee is 2.5 million pounds sterling (LE22.5 million).
He previously signed a season-long loan deal from the Egyptian outfit last summer, which included a clause allowing Sunderland to make the deal permanent for the pre-agreed fee.
Elmohamady was a regular in the team last season, making 38 appearances for the Black Cats.
