CAIRO: The Supervisors Against Corruption Movement today told Youm7 that it will be attempting to secure a meeting with new Egyptian Prime Minister Kamal el-Ganzouri to hand over the most egregious files regarding public waste from the previous regime. The Movement claims to have sent the files to former Prime Minister Essam Sharaf, who took no action. The Movement welcomed the appointment of el-Ganzouri, highlighting his national credibility, his accuracy and his firmness of character. “The Prime Minister has a long history of combating corruption during his ministerial tenure under former President Hosni Mubarak,” the Movement said.
