Dar el-Kotob, Egyptian publishers release guide for Cairo Book Fair

Chairman of the Central Directory of Dar el-Kotob Zein Abdel Hady today decided to release a guide for the Cairo Book Fair 2012. This guide will be released in coordination with Chairman of the Egyptian Publishers' Union Mohamed Rashad.
The Cairo Book Fair will be held in January 2012.
A number of suggestions regarding the publication of the Egyptian book were offered. Some urged the importance of committing to the international value of obtaining a unified number of deposit and an international number.
There were also some suggestions regarding training courses and workshops inside Dar el-Kotob.
These suggestions are part of a larger effort designed to enhance cooperation between Dar el-Kotob and the Egyptian Publishers' Union.
The National Library is providing several services for publishers, including a legal deposit service and an international numbering and indexing service for all publishers, publishing houses and authors.
One of the goals of these services is to maintain the intellectual property rights of both authors and publishers.
