CAIRO: The Egyptian national library belonging to Dar el-Kotob released the monthly statistic report of Egyptian intellectual production. June's report showed despite the bad affect of the January 25 Revolution incidents on the Egyptian economy, the cultural movement in Egypt witnessed many advantages. There was a large increase in the number of released books after the revolution. Egyptian publishing houses released a large number of books in July compared to in June; 1,747 books were published in Arabic and 166 books in English. The report categorized the released books into different genres and categories; 901 books were released in the humanities category, 175 books about in sciences, 566 books in arts and literature and 104 books in history and geography.
