The Tahrir Doctors Organization (TDO) signed an agreement with Doctors Without Borders, agreeing to provide training and logical support to Egyptian doctors in the event of accidents, crises, and disasters. Dr Mohamed Fattouh, President of TDO, said that this agreement means that TDO would represent Doctors Without Borders in Egypt. Fattouh said Doctors Without Borders held a training session for 30 members of TDO, including nurses and supervisors, on strategies for crisis management. TDO was founded during the January 25 Revolution, and provided medical aid during the revolution. It now aims to provide medical intervention during disasters, advocate citizens' right to health care, and attempt to reform the health system.
