On the Egyptian television show “Trends,” Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohamed Amr denied reports that the Egyptian ambassador in Tel Aviv said relations between Israel and Egypt were “eternal.” Amr Roshdy, the Ministry's spokesman said it is not normal to publish those reports from the beginning, and an Egyptian ambassador would not say such things about his people. Roshdy said such expression go against the typical diplomatic expressions, saying there is no such thing as “eternal” relations between states. A professional diplomat would not use such language, he added.
