CAIRO: The number of demonstrators outside the Israeli Embassy in Cairo declined today. Hundreds of protestors had started a march on Monday, called by the Unity Movement, heading to the Israeli ambassador's house in Cairo's Maadi neighborhood. The protestors demanded to close the Israeli embassy and expel the ambassador. Workers at the Public Authority for Cleanliness and Beautification in Giza removed the barbed wire and barriers outside the embassy today. Military forces continue their intensive presence outside the embassy, where they closed the way leading to the embassy with six armored vehicles, two groups of military forces and Central Security and two vehicles outside the zoo.
