CAIRO: Youm7 received a list revealing the names of Egyptians who will receive financial compensation of approximately U.S. $100,000 from the Compensation Committee Secretariat of the United Nation. This list includes provinces of where they live, where they worked in Kuwait and how they will be compensated for losses sustained during the Gulf War. There are 2,377 Egyptians who will receive compensation. A source familiar with the Ministry of Labors said such compensation was prepared in the ministry for some time. The source added the ministry will issue cheques immediately to those who are promised their compensation, to them or their heirs.
