Ahli have accepted an offer to sell Mauritanian striker Dominique da Silva to an unnamed Swiss club, the Reds said on Thursday. “An offer from a Swiss club shall arrive in a few days for Dominique," Ahli football director Sayed Abdul-Hafiz told the club's website. “Coach Hossam Al-Badri had no problem to let Dominique go." Dominique's exit immediately follows rumors of a rift with Al-Badri, who opted to keep his only foreigner on the bench in four Club World Cup games. It has been speculated that the 22-year-old told reporters that he ‘dislikes' Al-Badri, with Ahli refusing to comment on the issue. Dominique has been an Ahli player since January 2011, helping the Cairo giants to win the league last year with some crucial goals in the second half of the season. His spell has been affected by a series of injury problems though, which forced Ahli not to rely on his services before declaring recently they are in urgent need for a foreign striker.
