Egypt goalkeeper Ahmed Al-Shennawi is not optimistic over moving to Real Betis following his trial as he revealed that Zamalek could be his next destination. The 20-year-old spent a few days at Betis recently and is expecting an offer from the Spanish side, even so he is not sure if his club Masri will accept the bid from Seville. “I am expecting an offer from Betis to arrive on Wednesday and I hope the Masri board would let me go, but my feeling is that it will be turned down,” Al-Shennawi told FilGoal.com. “Masri's asking price is too high and Betis are not ready to pay that much. They were not encouraged by the experience of previous Egyptian players in Europe. “If this happens, I will probably join Zamalek. It's a big club and I think it suits me.” Al-Shennawi's exit from Masri is inevitable as the Port-Said club are suspended from domestic competitions next season and are likely to sell or loan out most of their first-team players. The highly-rated keeper is expected to be between the posts as Egypt prepare for the 2012 Olympic Games in London this July.
