Egypt and Masri goalkeeper Ahmed Al-Shennawi trained for the first time with Real Betis ahead of a one-week trial with the Spanish side.
The 20-year-old has been monitored by the Seville club who are pondering signing him from Masri in the summer.
Spanish media reported that he is currently training with Betis B under the supervision of goalkeeping coach Pedro Illanes.
Al-Shennawi - a goalkeeping wonderkid - is strongly tipped move away from Port-Said in the summer with Masri banned from football next season.
The Egypt international penned a five-year deal with Masri earlier this year, while Zamalek are also believed to be seriously interested in his services.
