Zamalek and Ahli stars Shikabala and Ahmed Fathi are poised to earn call-ups by Egypt Olympic team boss Hany Ramzy for the 2012 London games this summer. The quadrennial tournament allows U-23 teams to include three senior players in their squads as Ramzy almost seems settled on the aforementioned duo. “I am looking forward to including Shikabala and Ahmed Fathi as we have shortage in the playmaker and right-back positions,” the 43-year-old told Melody Sport TV. “But the decision to recall them is not final though as we still have a lot of time until the beginning of the Olympics. I am also still undecided about who would be the third player.” Egypt sealed qualification for the Olympics for the first time in 20 years - their third overall – after finishing third in the U-23 Africa Cup of Nations. Ramzy's side will be competing with 16 teams from July 26 to August 11 as the draw for the group stages takes place next month.
