Zamalek have completed signing midfielder Islam Awad from ENPPI for EGP 6million, the Cairo clubs announced. The Egypt international penned a three-and-a-half-year contract as ENPPI will get 25% of his next sale. Awad, 24, has been chased by Zamalek since last season and almost joined the Whites in the summer but the club's financial problems hindered the deal's progress. He played his first Egypt game under the management of Hassan Shehata early in 2011 and it is understood that the Zamalek boss requested signing him this winter. Zamalek said on Friday that they will announce their ‘winter transfers' on Saturday, with Gouna midfielder Nour Al-Sayed set to join in.
