Egypt's stock market (EGX) closed mostly red on Tuesday. * The benchmark index, EGX30, went up by 0.37 per cent, to 38,304.94 points. * The Shariah index, EGX33, fell by 0.47 per cent to 3,912.31 points. * The index EGX35-LV sank by 0.40 per cent to 4,325.38 points. * The SMEs index, EGX70, dropped by 0.99 per cent, to 12,116.62 points. * The EGX100 index went down by 0.75 per cent, to 15,926.01 points. The total market capitalisation reached 2,760,735,490,714 Egyptian pounds. The Egyptians and Arabs were net sellers with a total of 6,676,552,582 Egyptian pounds, and 4,198,640,685 Egyptian pounds, respectively. On the other hand, the non-Arab foreigners were net buyer with 10,875,193,267 Egyptian pounds. Top gainers 1. The shares of A Capital Holding went up by 15.83 per cent to 7.830 Egyptian pounds a share. 2. The shares of El Shams Housing & Urbanization rose by 6.56 per cent to close at 8.450 per cent a share. 3. The shares of ARAB POLVARA SPINNING & WEAVING CO. jumped by 5.00 per cent, closing at 10.080 Egyptian pounds. Top losers 1. The shares of Copper For Commercial Investment & Real Estate Development dropped by 20.00 per cent to 0.640 Egyptian pounds at closing. 2. The shares of El-Nile Co. For Pharmaceuticals And Chemical Industries fell by 8.52 per cent to close at 131.740 Egyptian pounds a share. 3. The shares of South Cairo & Giza Mills & Bakeries sank by 8.19 per cent, closing at 264.740 Egyptian pounds a share.
