Zamalek are ready to allow Hussein Yasser to return to the team following his controversial move to Belgium's Lierse last month, but insist that the Qatar forward must apologize. The 29-year-old suddenly rescinded his contract with Zamalek to join the Egyptian-owned Lierse, who have yet to register him among their ranks. With reports suggesting he is willing to back down on his move, Zamalek assistant coach Ismail Youssef welcomed the notion of having Yasser back on board. “Zamalek is Yasser's home, but there are a few steps that have to be concluded first,” Youssef told Egyptian radio. “He is a decent player and we have no problem to have him back, but he must apologize to all Zamalek fans for what he had done. “He made a mistake and he surely feels guilty, but I think he has a special stature among the fans.” It remains to be seen what will be the reaction from Lierse, who had already tied Yasser with a two-year contract.
