Zamalek fear that the events which marred Ahli's cup game with Kima Aswan could prevent English giants Liverpool from taking part in the Cairo club's centenary. The Whites claim they have an agreement with Liverpool for a friendly match on the 18th of October, but conceded that security could be a worry after hundreds of Ahli fans clashed with local police during the cup game this week. “We haven't signed a deal with Liverpool yet as they are waiting for the approval of the English embassy in Egypt,” Zamalek board member Sherin Fawzi told FilGoal.com. “To be honest, I think the embassy could advise Liverpool not to make the trip to Egypt after what happened in the Ahli game. But it is just a personal view. “Anyway, if they decided not to come, we are already looking for alternatives.” Liverpool have two home games around the date of the potential friendly as they host Premiership holders Manchester United on the 15th of October, before entertaining Norwich seven days later.
