Zamalek have made a move for Petrojet and Egypt striker Al-Sayed Hamdi, who is also targeted by Ahli. “We sent an enquiry to Petrojet over the availability of Hamdi,” Zamalek football director Ibrahim Hassan told FilGoal.com. “As long as they have an intention to sell him, we are interested in his services.” Hamdi, who is reportedly in talks with Ahli, managed to establish a place for himself in Egypt's roster under the management of Hassan Shehata during the past few international matches. He excelled in the friendly Nile Basin Tournament in January, finishing as top scorer with six goals in five games. However, the 27-year-old has only scored four times for Petrojet in the league this term.
