Gaish and Wadi Degla reached the Egyptian Cup round of 16 after beating Egyptian Railways and Fayoum respectively, while lower division side Nassr caused an upset upon beating top-flight team MCDR 2-0 on Wednesday. Nassr, a middle-table team in the Egypt second division, sealed the surprise win when Leger Djime opened the scoring on 27 minutes before Karim Al-Daou hit the second eight minutes from the hour mark. MCDR hotshot Ayman Hefni, who's targeted by Ahli and Zamalek, was introduced right after the break but was sent off before making an impact. At Military Academy Stadium, Wadi Degla came from behind to sink Fayoum 2-1. Fayoum's Youssef Omar netted the opener in the first half but Ahmed Dergham and Mohamed Al-Hasri notched up one apiece on 53 and 66 minutes respectively. Gaish beat Railways 1-0, thanks to a strike from Talaat Moharam in the 15th minute.
