The Egyptian FA announced that Ahli forward Geddo will be questioned, in the wake of Zamalek's complaint against him. The latest episode of the infamous saga saw Zamalek take legal action against the new Ahli recruit, claiming he had signed a contract with them before leaving Ittihad this summer. Consequently, the FA imposed a suspended ban on the Egypt forward, but did not set a date for the investigation. However, Geddo should be eligible to play for Ahli in the Egyptian Super Cup on August 25th as he will be questioned long before that date. He is also expected to make his debut with the Egyptian champions next week in the Champions League visit to Heartland of Nigeria. Clear In the wake of the decision, Ahli marketing director Adli Al-Qaeyi seemed confident about the legality of Geddo's situation. "Before signing Geddo, we asked about his position and we assured by the FA that he is clear to sign for us," said the Ahli transfer guru. "I don't think it is appropriate to say he is clear and then take action against him."
