Barcelona agreed to put France veteran Thierry Henry up for sale, saying his departure will 'save money'. Henry, who returned from the World Cup after his country's embarrassing exit from the group stage, had made a request to move away from Nou Camp before traveling to South Africa. Barcelona director Joan Oliver confirmed that the former Arsenal star will be offloaded this summer, although he still has one year on his contract. "Now it is up to him to complete it," Oliver said on the club's official website. "This will allow Barca to save money on his wages in the next financial year." Thirty-two-year-old Henry, who's linked with a move to New York Red Bulls, was one of the highest-paid individuals in Pep Guardiola's squad. Barcelona have also transfer listed Manchester City target Yaya Toure upon his request. "The decision is in the hands of the player and his representative," Oliver stated. "All that needs to be agreed is the player's terms with the new club."
