Ahli coach Hossam Al-Badri is set to spend a week at Premier League giants Manchester United in order to shadow the coaching staff members of the English champions. Al-Badri, who was handed his first head coach role when he was appointed as Ahli's boss in the summer, thought it would be useful to observe how Alex Ferguson and his backroom boys are working. "I asked the football committee to give me the permission for this trip. I guess it will be a very beneficial experience," he told Egyptian radio. "Getting to know how Manchster United's technical staff operate on a daily basis is definitely worth all the hassle.
Ferguson "I'm really glad that the football committee has given me the green light to spend several days at Old Trafford, and I will set off as soon as possible." Al-Badri has been keeping Ahli on an even keel over the past couple of months, and the Red Devils are now three points clear on top of the league table. The Egyptian Premier League has been recently halted as a result of Egypt's preparations for next month's crucial World Cup qualifier with Algeria.
