Zamalek have played out a goalless draw with newly-promoted Gouna, in preparation for the Egyptian Premier League start next week.
The game that took place at Helmi Zamora stadium in Cairo on Thursday witnessed no real chances at both ends.
Zamalek new signing Hassan Mostafa was forced out of the game in the 19th minute to be replaced by Ahmed Merghani.
No news on Mostafa's injury is yet to be announced by the White Knights, who were also held to a 0-0 by second-division Dakhlia on Wednesday using a reserve team.
Zamalek will face ENPPI in the league opener on Friday August 7th.
