Benitez dismisses Lavezzi claims

Liverpool have no intention of signing Napoli ace Ezequiel Lavezzi, said Reds boss Rafa Benitez.
Benitez refuted claims made by Lavezzi's agent earlier, that Liverpool made a bid for the Argentine striker.
"We never contacted Lavezzi and we have no intention of doing so," Rafa was quoted by the Daily Mail.
"We want to put a stop to these rumors."
Meanwhile, Lavezzi declared that he will only stay at Stadio San Paolo if Napoli managed to meet his demands.
