ENPPI have made their first signing of the summer after snapping up Ghazl Mahalla midfielder Nader Al-Ashri to end speculation regarding his future. The 24-year-old joined ENPPI for a fee of EGP 2.5 million, the club announced on Sunday. Coach Anwar Salama, who was recently given a vote of confidence by ENPPI, is keen to strengthen the team's squad to improve on their fifth-place finish in the Egyptian Premier League. Al-Ashri was reportedly a target for a host of clubs, including Cairo giants Ahli and Zamalek. He was arguably Mahalla's best player in the recently-ended season.
