The Egyptian international started the Premiership clash on the bench, before he replaced Charles N'Zogbia on 71 minutes and got injured seven minutes later. "Zaki's knee was hit hard in a challenge with a West Brom player. He then fell awkwardly to twist his ankle," Shawki told FilGoal.com.
Agent: I really hope that Zaki comes back on time to catch Egypt's World Cup qualifier against Algeria, as well as the Confederations Cup. "He will undergo scans on both his knee and ankle to determine how serious the injuries are." Shawki said that he expects Zaki to be out of the game for at leas two weeks, which means that the 25-year-old hitman will miss the Premiership's conclusion.
