Despite announcing that there will be no further arrivals this summer, Inter Milan owner Massimo Moratti hinted that the club could be forced to re-enter the transfer market. Defender Marco Materazzi sustained an injury during Tuesday's pre-season mini-tournament that featured AC Milan and Juventus. The Italy defender is deemed doubtful for Inter's Serie A opener against Sampdoria on August 31st. Inter will also have to deal with the fact that they will lose fellow defenders Cristian Chivu and Ivan Cordoba when they face Sampdoria. "The problem is that soon we will have important games, but we will decide shortly whether to act in the market or not," Moratti was quoted as saying by Calcio Italia. The Italian champions have signed just two players in the close season. They signed Ghanaian midfielder Sulley Muntari from Portsmouth and Alessandro Mancini from Roma.
