Inter Milan chairman Massimo Moratti believes that his team's fans were glad to see Zlatan Ibrahimovic fail to convert a penalty kick against Cesena in the Serie A.
Ibrahimovic, who used to be a key figure with European champions Inter, sealed a controversial season-long loan deal from Barcelona to AC Milan this summer.
The towering marksman made a debut to forget for Inter's arch-rivals Milan on Sunday, having wasted a spot kick in an embarrassing 2-0 loss to promoted side Cesena on Sunday.
"From a certain perspective it was the perfect day to be an Inter fan, but personally no," Moratti said.
"I saw Ibra. It was interesting to watch the game. Honestly I was curious too."
