Inter eying Aguero swap deal - reports
Published in FilGoal on 27 - 03 - 2009

Inter Milan are seeking to swap their hitman David Suazo for Atletico Madrid striker Sergio Aguero in the summer, according to an Italian report.
Jose Mourinho will most probably bring in a host of prominent figures in the off-season to beef up Inter's squad, and Argentina ace Aguero is believed to be at the top of his wish list.
According to the Corriere dello Sport, the Nerazzurri are lining up a £20m part-exchange deal that will see Suazo leave for Atletico and Aguero in the opposite direction.
Suazo, who joined Inter from Cagliari a couple of years ago, is now plying his trade at Benfica on a loan basis, after he became a surplus with the Serie A giants last term.
The Honduran marksman made tangible progress in Portugal, and yet, Benfica are not planning to sign him on a permanent agreement.
For this reason, the anticipated swap deal should appeal to him.
Inter chairman Massimo Moratti, who deeply admire Aguero, is prepared to offer the 20-year-old a lucrative contract that would make him the highest-paid player in the team behind Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Swedish frontman Ibrahimovic has been lately tipped to leave Inter, after he hinted that he could move away from the Italian champions soon.
