Everton reject Wigan's offer for Johnson

Wigan Athletic's bid to sign striker Andrew Johnson has been rejected by Everton, Sky Sports reported on Thursday.
The Latics, who are set to sign Zamalek's Amr Zaki on a season-long loan, had been hoping to sign another frontman in Johnson.
However, according to Sky Sports, Wigan's £9million offer to lure Johnson to the JJB stadium was turned down by Everton.
Johnson scored 17 goals in 53 appearances for Everton since joining from Crystal Palace in 2006.
