Zamalek sign defender Adel from Gaish

Zamalek have signed Amr Adel on a free transfer after the defender's contract with Al-Gaish expired, the Cairo giants announced on Friday.
"Adel will be a very useful addition to us," Zamalek assistant coach Mohamed Helmi told the club's official website.
"We informed Al-Gaish officials that we signed Adel although his deal with them expired as we want to maintain our warm relationship with the military club."
Adel is Zamalek's sixth signing in the close season as the team want to reshuffle their squad in order to compete for the Egyptian League title next season.
The White Castle last won the elite competition in 2004.
