Zamalek said on Friday that Junior Agogo's deal is almost done after the Ghanaian striker agreed personal terms with the Cairo giants. Confusion has been rife over whether the Nottingham Forest man completed a move to the Egyptian Cup winners. Zamalek general manager Alaa Mekled revealed on Thursday that Agogo joined the team on a four-year deal. However, only a few hours later, the player's agent Mohamed Mansour denied that his client has put pen-to-paper on a new deal with Zamalek. Zamalek clarified the matter as they revealed the contract was just a formality. "Agogo has accepted Zamalek's offer," Zamalek board member Mohamed Abou-Alam told FilGoal.com. "He will pen the deal in Gabon where he will play a World Cup qualifier with Ghana." English Championship side Forest have also announced that they agreed to sell the 28-year-old to Zamalek. "The two clubs have agreed an undisclosed fee for the Ghanaian international," Forest said in a statement on their website "The formalities of the deal are being concluded." FilGoal.com learned that the White Castle will pay 1.2 million euros for Forest to wrap up the deal. Agogo is expected to become Zamalek's sixth signing in the close season as Zamalek are reshuffling their squad in order to compete for the Egyptian League title. Zamalek have signed Arab Contractors duo Alaa Kamal and Mahmoud Samir, Trabzonspor's Ayman Abdul-Aziz, free agent Amir Azmi and Al-Gaish defender Amr Adel.
