Ghana striker Junior Agogo arrived in Cairo on Thursday to conclude talks with Zamalek over a possible move to the Egyptian Cup winners. The deal looked as though it wouldn't be completed due to Agogo's high financial demands. However, Zamalek board member Amr Al-Ganaini has seemingly reached a compromise with the Nottingham Forest hitman. The 28-year-old will sit down with Zamalek officials later on Thursday for further negotiations. Agogo is expected to become Zamalek's fifth signing in the close season following the arrival of Mahmoud Samir, Alaa Kamal, Ayman Abdul-Aziz and Amir Azmi. His imminent move to Zamalek could convince club's chairman Mamdouh Abbas to sell Amr Zaki to Wigan Athletic. Combative striker Agogo helped Nottingham Forest win promotion to the Championship, the second tier in the English football league system. Agogo, who participated in Ghana's 2008 African Cup of Nations campaign on home soil, netted 13 goals in 27 games last season.
