Zamalek are in advanced talks with English club Nottingham Forest to sign Ghanaian striker Junior Agogo, FilGoal.com understands. The Cairo giants are seeking to find a replacement for prolific striker Amr Zaki, who is nearing a switch to Premiership side Wigan Athletic. Zamalek, who finished third in the Egyptian League, are expected to wrap up the deal within the coming few days. Combative frontman Agogo helped Nottingham Forest win promotion to the Championship, the second tier in the English football league system. The 28-year-old, who participated in Ghana's 2008 African Cup of Nations campaign on home soil, netted 13 goals in 27 games last season.
