Zaccheroni wanted to get one million euros per season while Zamalek were willing to offer just 600,000. They will open their campaign against arch-rivals Ahli next month. Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest striker Junior Agogo is set to arrive in Cairo on Tuesday to hold talks with Zamalek over a possible move.
