Hamburg, where plays Egyptian forward Mohamed Zidan, extended their winless streak to five games with a scoreless draw at Hertha Berlin on Tuesday. Zidan's side went close to scoring twice but got nothing at the end of the day. In the 31st minute Zidan set up Anis Ben Hatira but he failed to beat the keeper and in the 75th minute Ivica Olic missed a spot-kick. The Egyptian international striker had a starting role for the second time this season but couldn't help his teammates grab the three points of this game. The result leaves Hamburg fourth of the table with 48 points after a series of poor performances as they collected only three points in their last five games.
