Bayern Munich stretched their winning streak to five matches after coming from behind to beat Bochum 2-1 away in the Bundesliga on Saturday. Dennis Grote grabbed the lead for the hosts after 11 minutes but was cancelled out by Franck Ribery's strike 10 minutes before the break. Substitute Bastian Schweinsteiger sealed the victory for the Bavarian giants 12 minutes from time. Bayern maintained their position on top of the league table with 26 points, six clear of joint second-placed teams Werder Bremen and Hamburg, who both enjoyed victories. Mohamed Zidan's Hamburg crushed title holders Stuttgart 4-1 at home, thanks to a hat-trick from Ivica Olic. Joris Mathijsen was also on the score sheet for the hosts before Serdar Tasci notched a consolation for Stuttgart, who played the second-half with 10 men on the field as Pavel Pardo was sent-off.
Zidan Egyptian forward Zidan played the entire encounter, partnering Olic in Hamburg's frontline. He put in a good display and assisted Olic for the opener as well as contributing to the second goal. Bremen edged past Hertha Berlin 3-2, with all goals coming in the second-period. Hugo Almeida fired Bremen in front in the 58th minute before Gilberto drew Hertha level three minutes later. Hertha's did not have much time to celebrate their equalizer as Swedish striker Markus Rosenberg restored Bremen's lead shortly after. Leon Andreasen made it 3-1 before Solomon Okoronkwo notched a last-gasp consolation.
