Mohamed Zidan's Borussia Dortmund claimed their first win in four Bundesliga matches after defeating Cologne 1-0 away from home on Wednesday. German midfielder Florian Kringe scored the winner five minutes past the hour mark. Egyptian forward Zidan was initially among the substitutes before being introduced in the 74th minute. The 26-year-old is looking to convince manager Jurgen Klopp that he deserves a regular place at Dortmund. He scored his first goal for the club in the thrilling 3-3 draw with Werder Bremen on October 18th. Dortmund moved into seventh place in the league table with 17 points, five short of surprise leaders Hoffenheim. Hoffenheim maintained their impressive run with a 3-1 victory at VFL Bochum. The visitors trailed to an early Bochum goal but they managed to overturn the result in the second half, thanks to goals from Demba Ba, Vedad Ibisevic and Carlos Eduardo. Title holders Bayern Munich came from behind to earn a 2-1 victory at Eintracht Frankfurt. They fell behind early in the second half through a Martin Demichelis own goal but Miroslav Klose equalized before French winger Franck Ribery sealed Bayern's victory 20 minutes from time.
