Egyptian midfielder Hossam Ghaly has been granted the British work permit and he is now eligible to make his debut for his new side Derby County. The club's official website said that he could feature in Sunday's game against Wigan Athletic. The 25-year old midfielder will wear the number 40 jersey. Ghaly, who has been dropped by Tottenham since last June, joined Derby County on loan until the end of the season. The England Premier League side insisted to have him available immediately and so he opted to quit Egypt ahead of the 2008 African Cup of Nations.
