Cameroon and Ivory Coast have booked their places in the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing with impressive victories on Sunday. Sydney 2000 gold medalists Cameroon beat Guinea 3-1 away, to reach an unassailable four-point lead on top of Group C, with one match remaining. While Ivory Coast, who ousted Egypt from the preliminaries, thrashed Zambia 4-1 in Abidjan to secure their place in the Olympics for the first time. The 'Baby Elephants', managed by former Egypt coach Gerard Gili, are five points clear on top of Group B. The last of three places for Africa in next year's Olympics will go to either Ghana or Nigeria, who have one point between them before the final round.
