Mainz striker Mohamed Zidan has revealed that he prefers to stay in the Bundesliga next season after he received a handful of offers. Zidan scored 13 goals in 15 games with Mainz since joining in January from Werder Bremen, and his form impressed a lot of teams in the continent. The Egyptian hitman has been targeted by a number of Bundesliga clubs including Stuttgart, Hamburg and Hannover, since Mainz's relegation to the second division. German magazine Kicker also reported that Zidan is wanted in France by Monaco and Marseille and in Spain by Osasuna and Deportivo Lacuruna. However, the 25-year-old admitted that he wants to stay in Germany, as he singled out Hamburg as his possible destination next season. "I will consider all offers for the next season, but I want to stay in the Bundesliga, the Hamburg offer is very interesting," Zidan told Kicker. Hamburg sports director Dietmar Beiersdorfer recently revealed that Zidan is on top of the club's shortlist for this summer recruitments.
