The Kuwaiti Football Association (KFA) has extended an invitation to Egyptian opposite numbers to schedule a friendly international game between the two countries in April. The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) informed national team coach Hassan Shehata of the Kuwaiti offer so he can make a decision. Egyptian team supervisor Samir Adli told FilGoal.com on Monday that Shehata will probably give the green light for the game since the national team has no commitments during that month. Adli explained that the Kuwaiti side had asked to set up a friendly last year but the busy schedule for both teams did not allow it. Egypt last faced Kuwait in a friendly in 2005 and the Pharaohs won 1-0, courtesy of an Ahmed Hassan strike.
