AC Milan's woes in the Serie A continued after they were held to a goalless draw by Empoli at the Carlo Castellani Stadium on Saturday. The disappointing draw put the Rossoneri, who lost four of their last five league games, in 14th place of the table with eight points while Empoli lie fifth on 16 points. Brazilian striker Ricardo Oliveira almost broke the deadlock in the 17th minute when he curled a long-range drive that struck the crossbar. Just one minute later, the former Real Betis striker had another golden opportunity when Empoli midfielder Davide Moro cleared his header off the line. On the stroke of half-time, the woodwork denied Oliveira's angled shot again. In the second-half, Milan continued their domination but failed to deliver to produce another disappointing show.
