Egyptian midfielder Hossam Ghali dished out two assists to help Tottenham Hotspur beat Birmingham 2-0 in their pre-season friendly. Ghali started in his usual holding midfielder role and fed newly-signed striker Dimitar Berbatov to open the score line in the 12th minute. Just two minutes later, the Bulgaria forward doubled the lead after being released by a neat pass from Ghali. The Egyptian international was substituted 12 minutes into the second period. Ghali joined Tottenham from Dutch side Feyenoord in January but he has yet to make his Premiership debut. The former Ahli man has been producing strong performances during Tottenham's pre-season preparations.
