Marseille star Franck Ribery looks intent on earning a call-up to the French team to join them in time for their World Cup campaign. The 23-year-old, who played a pivotal role in Marseille's 2-1 French Cup victory over Lyon, believes that his top-notch performance in the match was worth landing him on his first call-up to the French team. "Since the match at Nantes, I have found a spark again. I feel much better than when we first came back after the New Year. I still had desire, but I had lost the tone of the first months of the season," Ribery told L'Equipe on Thursday. "I am very satisfied with what I did in that context. I hope the national coach has appreciated it, and that I will be able to renew that kind of performance, and why not get an opportunity to be among the 23-player list?. "I still believe I have a chance to play with Les Bleus. I will do my best to go to Germany," Ribery said. Ribery also insisted that he wanted to extend his stay with Marseille next season, and that he is content with his current performance. "I am happy with my performance now and also my team-mates' performances. My family and I are happy in Marseille. I feel a little like the fans' pet. I feel trust in that club."
