Egypt concluded their preparations for the highly-anticipated African Cup of Nations (ACN) semi-final against Senegal that will take place on Tuesday. Ahmed Hossam “Mido” joined his teammates in their final training on Monday morning after recuperating from the injury he picked up during Egypt's quarter-final match against Ivory Coast. “Mido is ready to play the Senegal match, but whether he will feature in the starting line-up or not, that will be coach Hassan Shehata's call,” assistant coach Hamada Sedki told Filgoal.com exclusively. Sedki also insisted that the players were all in top-form and were prepared for the match both mentally and physically, knowing the huge responsibility they were carrying. The former international said that their match aginst the Teranga Lions will be their toughest challenge yet in the African Cup and insisted that they will have to keep an eye out for Senegal's midfield, especially with El-Hadji Diouf's return from injury. Egypt boss Hassan Shehata is expected to choose a totally new game-plan for the Senegal encounter that will take place in the Cairo International Stadium at 7:00 pm (CLT).
