Ahli manager Mohamed Youssef would rather play home Champions League games outside Egypt than in Gouna, following the authorities' rejection to change the floodlight-less venue. After an unsuccessful attempt of moving their home games to Alexandria's Army Stadium, Ahli will have to endure Hurghada's daylight heat once again when they host Congo's Leopards this month. "I prefer to play anywhere else, even outside Egypt rather in Gouna once again," Youssef told FilGoal.com. "I'm really dismayed with the decision to play there; the pitch is so poor, temperature is high and air currents there affect our game. "We've never won there; we drew with Zamalek and lost to Orlando Pirates. I hate this venue." Ahli failed to win their first two games in Gouna, drawing with Zamalek and slumping to a heavy 3-0 defeat to Orlando Pirates. The reigning African champions are currently second of Group A on four points as they host Leopards on August 31.
