Ahli will hand Congo U-17 striker Kader Bidimbou a trial this month, the African champions said on their website. Bidimbou, 17, is currently contracted to Congolese champions Leopards, who will compete against Ahli in the CAF Champions League Group A. Ahli said that the teenager is one of the players on their shortlist after impressing at the African U-17 Championship in Morocco earlier this year. He will be handed 15 days to prove himself to the Cairo giants, who open their Champions League group campaign against local rivals Zamalek next month. Should he win a contract at Ahli, Bidimbou will be registered as a U-20 player, which means he will not be one of the three foreigners in the first team squad.
