Egypt wing-back Ahmed Elmohamady has been named Hull City's Player of the Season, the Championship club said. The 25-year-old, who is spending the season on loan from Sunderland, was presented with the award at the KC Stadium on Saturday evening. Elmohamady scored three goals and set up another nine so far, which made a key figure in the Tigers charge for Premier League promotion. Hull are on the verge of sealing promotion as they need a win against second-from-bottom Barnsley at the weekend to make it through.
