Mohamed Al-Nenni believes he is up to the job of stopping Gareth Bale when Basel visit Tottenham in the Europa League on Thursday. The Swiss champions fly to London for the quarter-final clash, knowing that Spurs will typically be relying on their star man Bale. Al-Nenni, who is hopeful of starting at White Hart Lane, seems to be in confident mood ahead of the first leg. “Bale's form this season does not concern me. It is not important who we play against. I think we can face anyone," Al-Nenni, on a season-long loan from Arab Contractors, told FilGoal.com. “Tottenham are not just Bale. Even if he has been their top player all season, maybe against us he will not play well. “Surely it is a tough game but I think Basel usually do well against English teams and maybe we can cause an upset like we did against Manchester United last season." Despite Al-Nenni's optimism, Basel have only won two games out of 13 against English teams in their history of European competitions. On the other hand, Tottenham were victorious three times out of four against clubs from Switzerland.
