CAIRO - The Coptic lawyer for a Copt who allegedly converted to Islam has threatened to withdraw from defending her if she refuses to be questioned by the Public Prosecution, slamming the broadcasting of a recorded video of her as 'against his desire'. Lawyer Naguib Gibraeel, however, stresses that Camilia Shehata, a Copt who some Muslims allege has converted to Islam, is living happily with her husband. "If Camilia isn't questioned by the Public Prosecution, I will quit the case," Gibraeel, also a lawyer for the Coptic Orthodox Church, told the German press agency (dpa). A Coptic satellite TV channel was due to air a video of Camilia and her husband, a priest called Father Tadrous Samaan, last night. "This is not enough. What was planned was that she would appear on Egyptian State TV," said the lawyer.
